Yeah, u heard it right! A Promoter who booked Plies for a show has apparently booked himself to an armed robbery case.(Innocent until proven guilty) The promoter who had to come up with at least half of $25,000 to book Plies has now lost well over $15,000and a court date. Plies who came to Cleveland to perform in Cleveland, OH. last year at the Metropolis came to a show of LESS than a 100 awaiting fans. PLIES who is know to book shows for $25,000 came to cleveland, but relunctly did not PERFORM.
Now isn't in the contract that a "NO PERFORMANCE" means a refund??? Well I guess the promoter will not see his refund no time soon. I really feel sorry for this dude, but when will people stop tryin to act like they are PROMOTERS. Not only does the promoter lose, but we as CLEVELAND get a BAD rap from outside national artists because of promoters who lack the knowledge of promotion & marketing.
