It appears that word in the STREET's is that Cleveland artist "CHIP THA RIPPER" has apparently left the label Dreamlife Records, over an undiputed settlement of un-accounted fees (money owed) due to him.
From "Get It Gurl" to "I'm Fitted" ... Chip has proven to be that Next Hot Artist! AND Now he is featured on HI-TEK's record "Ohio All Stars" Album (HI-TECHNOLOGY 3), http://www.myspace.com/hitek ... & VIDEO BELOW has shown as well as proved why he is Next!
It's no DOUBT why the labels are in HIGH Negotiation ... HMMM 7 figs.
From what is heard from the streets that is ... not only is JIVE RECORDS interested in signing Chip, but UNIVERSAL & WARNER BROTHERS music!??? Now that is HUGE!!! Major labels are actually calling the area code (216) LOOKING for CHIP THA RIPPER???
Is CLEVELAND next to blow??? Could this be the NEW AGE of MIDWEST exposure like the Infamous Bone Thugs & Harmony??????

I heard that there is a 5 label bidding war for Chip right now. Im not sure if he has the look to be superbig but some of his rhymes are pretty unbelievable. He has a good voice for rapping too. Hopefully he gives up the cap rapping but maybe soon he'll have enough chippers that he doesn't have to cap. Meanwhile Perfect John is going to find out if dreamlife has an open spot on the roster.lol
